I'd watch your woodsman cooking show over any of the pompous tv chefs out there,it needs to happen.
Great culinary outdoor instruction. My mother used to be a fish fryer and she did a one off special for us. Someone gave her a small bottle of champers and she put that in the batter. Blew our minds. Also try goose fat to cook in !!!!

My husband also ate vinegar on his fish, we are from Georgia in the USA. Love all your videos. Enjoy and agree with with your message about hybernating. Fish (batter dipped) and with salt, vinegar and cracked black pepper, fries (chips), Corn with a bit of butter and salt, cracklings (scraps) and I live in Arkansas, U.S. I would love to make this while camping. We usually don't fry at camp. BBBbbbbuuuuuttt… this makes me want to at least try this.

whenever i cook fry fish in batter in the woods I use me mums old cake tin. It is long and narrow so just the right depth, width and length for frying fish. Save on oil and a lot lighter than most pans
