lol that was pretty good brother i liked that toaster thing . i dont think it was great with bagels well at least thats the way it looked on video lol . but the best part of this video hands down was master Owen . so a big ten out of ten for the cooking video and another big ten out of ten just for master Owen . bless ya guys and ill be watching for the next one .

Nice set of hand forged tool for cooking on your fire. You need to start an esty store to sell your goods and make a few dollars. That toaster with no cord does a pretty good job at toasting bread. It's good to see Owen chilling at your camp. Cheers Chris.

That is some good eats brother! The SPAM on toasted bread is pretty standard but you definitely caught me off guard when you through on the salmon to make the bagel with cream cheese, capers & salmon. That look really tasty. I hope you can get out and crank out some more videos this spring!

I really like the toasting fork addition to the swing arm cook set. The toaster worked great, too. I had one like that a long time ago, but lost track of it. I have also used a forked stick with good success. I always enjoy watching you cook over the fire!

- I made that extra fork so I could adjust the height... I really meant for that to be my “toaster” until I found that real toaster in a thrift shop.... I couldn’t pass it up for $5.00.

Do it! The red onions add great flavor. I usually use smoked salmon on my bagels, but this pepper salmon was in my camping stuff already... it was pretty dang good though! 👍🏻

What an outstanding video , it was great to see Owen out with you enjoying some fresh air and nature .. was jelly and mustard on that spam sammich ? I watched a review on the mr volcano forge by Christ centered ironworks and totally gives it a excellent review for the novice black smith .. so now it’s time to pull the trigger on that and get one In shipment .. 35 degrees here tonight and I’m about to test my hammock set up for the night double underquilt and 0 degree canvas duck flannel lined sleeping bag for over quilt ,, should be toasty warm for the night ,, if not back door to the house is 20 feet away ., 😂

Thanks Ken... I hope you survived the chilly night. We’re actually supposed to be having freezing rain and snow here tonight! I like that forge.... follow the assembly directions, and don’t try the shortcuts... let it air dry. It will take several days to cure, but it’ll be worth it. ⚒🔥👍🏻

Looked like a mighty fine campfire meal. You know I've eaten bagels all my life but never with fish. There is New York style deli near me when I'm out on the coast. They have a Lox bagel on the menu. I'm going to have to give it a try.

@@CarolinaChrisOutdoors pretty awesome, brother. I love the entire fire anchor setup as well. They are a bit pricey for what they are if ya purchase them. I love my forged stuff, tripod, trammel, s hooks, pokers, and a few other pieces. The lil spam sized cleaver is great, too.
