Hi guys, I’m new to your channel and having watched several of your videos I think I’m hooked, we love Spain also and have been visiting friends in Calpe twice a year for 8 years now. We used to have a touring Caravan and did mainly the south coast of England where we live. I’m semi retired and my wife Jax is a professional artist so we are looking into purchasing a Campervan/moterhome and would love to travel to Spain in our winter months, we are keen cyclists and walkers and just love the countryside and nature. Thanks guys , it's open all year, we have booking for January next year , its a website thing I suspect. There is also a Caravan and Motorhome Club Rally on the site starting 12th Jan , although that might not be announced yet . I'd drop them an email if you're interested. I particularly noticed your reference to nuts in the market! We are in the Auvergne at present, travelled over from Norfolk 9 days ago. I just commented we’ve almost run out of nuts - yes, we’re doing Zoe too and I’ve just made another batch of Zoe almond cookies!

Looks great and I'm really enjoying your vlogs. My hubby is Spanish and after many years of driving very quickly across France and Spain with our 2 dogs by car, we've now bought a motorhome and are planning some slow travel. Just wondering how you cope with cycling and your pup? Thinking about how we'll manage our time away from the van with them. And thank you for showing that Spain is indeed so much more than cheap booze, beaches and English bars! Can highly recommend historic sites like Baela Claudia (Cadiz), Italica (Sevilla) and Medina Azahara (Cordoba) 😊

Good morning , thanks for your kind comments. We love Spain and Spanish people we’ve met have been lovely. We haven’t yet been to Cadiz , but Sevilla and Cordoba we loved , but thanks for the recommendation. Biking with Poppy is a challenge , K9 Sports Sacks are good , so are Buddy Riders and Kurgo Carriers , but our Pup likes to run , usually in front. Not helped that we are runners and she runs with us , she’s just not a sit in the basket sort of girl . The result being we’ve done less cycling of late as she was fine as a young dog the last 12/18 months she’s made her position clear on the matter 😂. Dog sitters some times volunteer which is great , but we wouldn’t leave her with just anyone. Hope that helps happy travels and Merry Christmas Helen and Martin

Hi, our answer I accept demonstrates our poor technical knowledge on the subject , but a cable runs from your tv and plugs directly into a port on the electric post. Instructions are supplied at reception and there is no extra charge , just tune in your TV . If you need a cable they sell them in the campsite shop. Hi thanks for watching , apparently busy over Christmas and Spanish Bank Holidays which are very busy as you would expect. The site can cope though without it feeling too oppressive. It wasn't to busy when we were there and quietening down as we were leaving as UK Dutch and German in main tourists were heading home. There was also a sub 300 van Caravan and Motorhome Club Rally at the site which ran over winter. Thanks once again for your kind comments Helen and Martin

Hi Graeme , we ask ourselves the same question quite a bit and I don't think we would have changed without wanting to tour Europe extensively. We have never been as comfortable as we were in our Coachman no doubt and we do on occasions miss the car , but the Aire System and great public transport system in Europe, in addition to the easier pack up and go options a motorhome brings , swung it for us. We don't rule out moving back though if our requirements change , we think Caravans are awesome. Thanks for watching , best wishes Helen and Martin

Alannia looks a great site to catch your breath and to chill out after a while on the road. We do the same and have our favourite 5 star sites and there’s nothing better than recharging the batteries and then off again. There are limitations with a camping car but like you, glad we changed from a Coachman caravan as it far easier touring in Europe. Looks a great trip and enjoy Spain 🇪🇸
