Camping at Pymatuning SP - one of the best campgrounds in Pennsylvania.

In this episode, we travel 3 hours from home to go camping at Pymatuning State Park in Linesville, PA. We were pleasantly surprised at all the amenities the park had to offer, plus there were stunning sunsets, and great places to kayak, making it a win win in our book. I enjoyed the video. There is camping in Jamestown but farther northwest of the dam. It is one of the 3 Pymatuning State Park PA campgrounds. There is also a Pymatuning State Park campground on the Ohio side of the lake. We look forward to revisiting the refurbished Tuttle Point campground. It is now scheduled to reopen mid to late summer 2023.

@@CampingCompanions We live fairly close to the Pymatuning State Parks. We have often camped in the Jamestown campground. We have considered Linesville but had only made a quick drive through which is why I watched your video!

I don’t remember much from our family’s trip to Pymatuning in the early 60’s as I was very young. However, we all remember that, for toilets, all they had were outhouses and the stink was, well, unforgettable!! Glad to see that it has greatly improved!

I don’t believe any of the sites have water hook ups. You fill your tanks when you get there.
