Great outing and a killer view...seems a bug net for the hammock would have been handy. Great drone footage and camp kitchen setup. Best to you on becoming a Pastor...we have a family relation who has been a Pentacostal Pastor most of his adult life...has been a fulfilling experience for him and his family.

Great job with the filming and editing! I was at that same spot yesterday. I live in that area so I drive through there quite a bit. Very relaxing just to watch your video!

Do the campsites fill up quick
@nchighwaymanАй бұрын
@@brianrogers5327 It really depends on the time of year and day of week. If you go during the week you shouldn't have a problem finding a good campsite unless it's a holiday. Campsites during the weekends get taken pretty quickly.

Just went up there yesterday bro took advantage of our 65 degree weather we had yesterday. Just found this place in December and I've lived 20 mins from it my whole life better late than never I guess. You have some of the most clearest images and video I have ever seen well done my friend

You have a cool bed rack storage box system. Who makes it and about how much do they sell for? I have a 2023 Colorado Trail Boss and want to equip it for doing over landing. Not sure I can use the roof rack tent as I an a big 320 lb guy. Old man so wow not think my bad knees would allow me to use a good top tent setup.

Hey Harold, Leitner Designs Active Cargo System is what is on my truck. Its the forged system. There is the classic and the forged, and the forged is around $2000 dollars for the rack, not including the accessories and the tent. It holds 1200lbs static, and 800 lbs off road. So that's pretty solid in my opinion. And roof top tents can be very spacious if you're able to get up the ladder. Whether you camp on top or not, its a great rack system on the market for whatever overlanding you choose to do.

Hey I’m new to the whole overland camper game. Did you have to air down or use 4x4? Is HWY 105 pretty good for a first time adventure. I’m a Pastor also. Looking forward to hearing one of your preachings! Are you from NC?
@GrantKetron8 ай бұрын
Oh wonderful man, yeah there are a bunch on my channel. I'm heading to VA this summer to become the pastor of my home church. And you don't have to air down on the main portions of old NC 105. All kinds of cars can go on it without four wheel drive. Of course, having a truck is nice. Wish you the best in your adventures!

No such thing as overlanding anywhere east of the Rocky Mountains. Just driving around!! Also nothing worth seeing seeing east of R.Mtns.
