I’m a local (ex Walpole now Albany) got some great camping spots near by, it’s such a bonus I find leaving after work Friday, sometime I get to camp around midnight. But it’s great when you wake up at camp opposed to travelling all day to the camp. Discovered your channel will suss through it Fish was I believe a moonlighter or butterfish. I fish lots offshore Walpole and peacefuls

Only just new to this camping stuff (motobike and tent) and hadn't heard of Hipcamp b4 but checking out a sample of sites seems to me they are taking the piss asking so much for what they are offering and the restrictions they place on campers

Oh some of them are extortionate for what you get but there are some really nice ones too that aren’t as expensive. Having said that some of the shire sites are getting really expensive too. We stayed in a campground with one flushing toilet in the South West region recently and it was $40 a night!

My partner and I have stayed at a few good hipcamps now, some have more provided than others, we absolutely loved a farmstay near Toodyay with my daughter
