CAMPING IN A 1800 YEARS OLD ABANDONED MONASTERY

Greetings to everyone from Uğur Haliloğlu's new caravan camp. In this video, we appear before you from a historical place. We camped at the Abandoned Vazelon Monastery. In order to visit the Monastery, we left the caravan and walked through a difficult terrain. The view we saw fascinated us greatly. Vazelon Monastery is a historical monastery located in Maçka district of Trabzon province of Turkey. It is located in the Eastern Black Sea Region and is located in an area famous for its natural beauty. Vazelon Monastery was built during the Byzantine Empire and is estimated to have been built between 270-317. This monastery was one of the important centers of Orthodox Christianity at that time and, like the monasteries in the surrounding region, offered educational and health services as well as religious and cultural activities. The structure of the monastery reflects the architectural features of the period. We try to present you with different content with our camp videos. You can support us by subscribing to our channel. It was not abandoned it was sacked and destroyed by turkish muslim nationalists a 100 years ago. And as you can see 0 effort to preserve what its left of it anyone can go there an pee on this ancient building, such a shame.

C'est vraiment difficile de comprendre le travail réalisé à cette époque, c'est fou de tailler un rocher au sommet de la montagne et de construire un monastère à l'intérieur.

Sehr schön dort, ich meine so 60 - 70 Kilometer von Trabzon entfernt. Ich war vor paar Jahren mit türkischen Kollegen dort. Sehr beeindruckend und ein gutes Beispiel dafür, wie bescheurt Politiker und Reliogionsfürsten waren und sind. Ugur, lach wir sagen alle guten Dinge sind drei, oder auch 5. So ist es mit Teleskopstangen, lieber eine mehr dabei, als zu wenig. Warum klaust Du bei Sezen das Frühstück, lach - kommt mir sehr bekannt vor. - Grüsse aus Frankfurt, sehr schönes Video von euch, bleibt gesund und genießt die wunderschöne Natur in euren Bergen und das Leben.
