Thank you so much for checking out our video!! Most of my older videos are "How To" videos, but going forward we plan on doing a lot more like this one. This was our first real attempt at a vlog style video, we hope to get better making them as the summer progresses!! Yes, our little camping companion had gone with us on every single family camping trip we have gone on, sadly he unexpectedly passed away 2 weeks ago. Cody will be missed. I plan to do a little tribute to him at the end of our next camping vlog.

Love it. My husband and I grew up about an hour from here, and then we honeymooned at the Mt. Princeton Hot Springs (8 years ago now!). We were just talking about how when we come back to Colorado for my sister's wedding that we'd like to run back up here.

It really is a great place!! I plan to show a lot more in the next video that I do of BV, I hope to get the Jeep out and take it up this really cool Jeep trail that has amazing views of the valley at the top. My son loves to fish he will do it all day if I let him, I'm just glad we are getting to the stage where it's not always me taking care of a tangle, LOL!! Looks like a really fun trip. The area is beautiful, good fishing, and so much stuff to do. We're hoping to head west for an extended trip next year and plan to spend some time in CO. Our little one loves Jurassic Park, especially that one because the raptor talks to Alan on the plane. :)

It's a great place, if you make it out to Colorado I highly recommend it!! The Jurassic Park series, Indian Jones series and of course the Star Wars series are all favorites for down time in the camper!! Thanks SO much for watching this video!!

That's where we got our start 4 years ago. We've redone most of them and removed the originals from KZbin. Collegiate Peaks is the only campground left to redo once it opens next month. I tried several times last year but the construction on Cottonwood Pass had it closed down. Once I get the new video of Collegiate Peaks online, we will have video of all USFS Campgrounds in the San Isabel National Forest.

Interesting the difference in the pronunciation of "Buena" from CA to CO! Our town's name is actually San Buenaventura (Ventura). That lake is gorgous! And loved the wildlife on your drive!

I have heard SO many different pronunciations of "Buena" that it has even made Hispanics like my self unsure of the correct pronunciation, LOL!! We always love seeing wildlife, we were exceptionally lucky to see all that we did that trip, it's rare to catch Turkey for a photo op here! Thanks for watching!!
