mosquito and heavy rain are nightmare for camping😆

Mosquito...yes no doubt but we do enjoy camping in the rain though. It's oddly calming "if we are well prepared"? hehe

Greetings from Kampar, David. You both are setting a good example of how a Malaysian can be "civic-minded" and do simple things to keep our beaches, clean, hygienic, safe and pleasant! Well done! Cherating... facing the South China Sea and less pollution if compared with the Straits of Malacca. Your Land Cruiser is serving your adventure well and thanks to your personal involvement right from the planning till completion stage, you are enjoying all the features built-in..all looking neat, tidy, secure and orderly! Bravo! Will keep following your travel!

It’s definitely disheartening to see litter in our environment. It not only affects the beauty of our surroundings but can also harm wildlife and ecosystems. Sometimes, just a small act of picking up litter can inspire others to do the same. That's the best we can do to help create awareness in public. Thank you for supporting our "civic-action" :)

When I was schooling,I joined the Boy Scout Movement and 2 key things,I learn and still cherish them, till today. 1) Be Prepared..applicable to any situation and more meaningfully, when outdoors! 2) Do a good deed each day...ie like what you both had so kindly/considerately,cleared the litter at the beach. For me, each time when I cycle, I find it very sad to see carcasses of poor birds, snails, snakes, terrapins, monitor lizards and even dogs and cats,"killed" and left on the road, potentially to be rolled over by the various traffic! I stop and very cautiously ( using the rear LED lights of my bicycle as a Warning Beacon) remove these poor souls and relocate them further away from the road. Will need to buy a small spade/changkul to dig n bury. This,is one deed I do, Literally, a few times in a month when cycling! Another deed that is worthy is removing sharp objects, planks, wood, metal rods, tyre tread that had ripped off ( tayar celup) and any hazardous objects that can potentially harm road users! ha ha.. Some of my friends think I am a busy body, citing I had taken over the work of the local council!

I was wondering why you did not have a little camp fire to set the mood . Was it prohibited at the camp site you were at? I will always have a small camp fire whenever I camp. I like cooking my dinner over a camp fire. I find it can be quite therapeutic just watching the fire in the quiet of the night .

Yes, firepit is required at the campsite. No worries, you will see a little "fire" in our upcoming episode :)

One of my tattoo is very unique as I designed it using my date of birth, artistically linked to form an arm band and at both ends, had the twisted braid-like pattern,to cover the greater exposed curvature of my Left Upper Arm!So, this tattoo also serves as my ice-breaker piece when meeting new friends!
