Camping in Istanbul on the BEST parking for Campervans - Türkiye Camping 🇹🇷

It all started with a drive trough a storm from Lefkada that followed us til Kozani. After spending a quiet night there, we continued our drive to Alexadroupolis where we spend a night in a campsite.
After crossing the border into Türkiye, we went to Tekirdag to buy sim card and get our van checked in a Ford Servis.
In the end we decided to stay in Istanbul at a parking/camping in the old city, 20 minutes from the amazing Hagia Sophia.

First of all, welcome to Turkey! I'm watching this on a short vacation in Alexandropolis, and after seeing the campervans on the beach, I was thinking maybe Tapshanov will be here after the Ionainan sea! :)) Crazy... I'm living in Istanbul, if you need any help I an help with translation etc. Have a very nice trip!

It's affordable because Tûrkiye is currently dealing with financial crisis....inflation has been hurting them really bad. So for anyone with a different currency will find everything affordable but for them it is really costly.

Yes I understand. I read that prices in TL are up to the same value of € they were before, so for foreigners in many tourist areas, is the same like before the financial crisis. This is the most devastating for the locals. Where we are now, prices haven’t be raised a lot and here yes, its much cheaper for other currencies.
