can u share the location of ur spot, i heard there were some issues camping at nandi. I also want to camp here.

Correct, Exact at Nandi you cannot but u can do nearby places close to Nandi. We did not take the right turn towards Nandi, if you go straight after that you will find a temple. After crossing the temple you are free to do your camp. Villagers are good and safe. Basically it is in the middle of nowhere with the mountain view.
