I was thinking of building a similar shelter here where I live in Washington state. However, I recently learned we've got a momma mountain lion and two nearly full-grown cubs wandering the neighborhood. They've taken a few of the neighbor's ducks. I think I'll hold off building and sleeping in a shelter for a bit. EDIT We didn't get to see the solar eclipse today, too much cloud cover. It got darker for awhile, but that was it. I love these videos, they help me unwind and relax.

@@chrissanchez2998 I have lung cancer and I can’t do anything and this was my dream to actually make like an underground mud house and a mud stove and a mud fireplace and get to build the thing but my dreams are now yours and if you don’t have cancer there’s no reason why you couldn’t build one of these. You could build it in your backyard and you could use it to store stuff to store canned food. It could be used to as a little art room or whatever you want to make it anyway what I wanna say is I hope you get out of the house and I actually hope that you get to do something with your life.❤

Here in the tropics, if you are not at the higher altitude with pine forest you cant sleep on the ground. There will be ants, leech, scorpion and all kinds of centipede crawling on the floor.

Not that I get there often (think decades), but I love the sound of rain in a woodland. (Especially while under shelter.). While your tarp might have been a tad short for my taste, it looked like a peaceful and relaxing good time.

I wanted to asked one question please if you don’t mind. Where are you from well where is this location? It looks to be freezing cold wherever you are. I get so relaxed watching your videos until I fall off to sleep. I think it’s the sounds of you building and the nature sounds. Whatever it is, keep it up! It still looks so very cold. I hope you're being careful enough to prevent frostbite and staying hydrated. How do you manage to deal with electrolytes? There, you've got your salt and your natural. Herbs and foraging plants that probably provide electrolytes. But may I ask what if any seaweed do you use from any of the bodies of water that you come in contact with? Thank you for your response.
