Hi everyone - Tony does so much for us as his members and viewers, that I would like to do something special for him: share how he has impacted my families life. I work full time, my husband is on permanent disability for grand mal seizures, an amazing special needs son (Down syndrome & autistic), and a beautiful 24 year old daughter raising her 17 month old daughter and working on her doctorate. I’m always trying to find activities for us to collectively do that’s fun and creating memories. That’s where Tony comes in. We noticed our son was watching Tony for hours at a time and creating tents inside the house; so we decided to watch Tony with him, and loved his adventures! We have recently purchased a tent for him to camp inside the house with his dog Ferrari (an Italian mastiff) / he loves it …. and we have upcoming family tent camps scheduled. To say we’re excited about our new family outings is an understatement. *We’ve used his Amazon link to help purchase our gear. Thank You so much Tony for everything you do. Thank you for sharing, that is lovely to hear, Tony has helped alot of people I believe in all different ways, including myself, mostly with relaxing long camping videos where you feel your there enjoying Tony's conversations, Bruce's (RIP) and Bruno's presence, to giving the best guy line technique I've come across, advice that has probably save hundreds of people, hundreds of dollars with a variety of camp product testing and info. Do you have a back yard? going on a "camping trip" to your back yard is a good way to familiarise yourself with setting up everything, your tent, staring a fire, using your cooking kit, sleeping etc. especially if you have not been camping before. Call it a shake down and all with civilisation and "that thing I knew we should have brought" at hand.

hi tony :) i found out i had cancer this this year and for the past 6 weeks ive under gone aggressive treatment, last week i just broke down crying due to the pain from treatment and i prayed to god to just give me the strength to carry on, while sitting here , tears rolling down my face i put youtube on and one of your vid was there (camping in the rain) i just played the video and was instantly hooked , i love the rain and hearing it ,everywhere you go camping is just beautiful and the love you and bruce had for each other just melted my heart and gave me and instant smile , im now down to the last video of camping in the rain and ive loved every one ive watched , you and bruce made me laugh smile and all the above , im so sorry he passed away he was such a character and clearly a much loved part of your family,i look forward to watching bruno grow and i just wanted to say thank you for your wonderful video and im looking forward to binge watching camping in the snow :)

Thank you for everything you do for the camping community. I’ve learned more from watching your channel than any other in the field. I know you have done some pretty extensive reviews on products themselves but I’ve also seen you mention some more technical info re: tarp set up, knots, etc. if you could elaborate on the specifics of what techniques you use that would be hugely beneficial. Great vid, it's taken me 4 years to buy the perfect tent for me a Robens fairbanks grande, as for heating and power well that will take alot longer, but I look up to people like you that show what can be bought and achieved, though you are way of my league when it comes to your stuff, but I plod onwards and upwards. It's always hard work setting up and taking down. I bet your glad when your home and can just flake out and relax. This tent up off the ground was a good tent to have in the weather your in. At least you kept dry and warm. Bruno was really tired and was out like a lite. He knows you love him because when you walk behind him he always turns back to see where you are. He always has his eyes on you. That's the way our pug dogs were. Very attached and affectionate. I can see the same behavior in Bruno too. He always has his eye on you. He knows your his boss that's all. Like you said your the Alpha male and in a pack you always have to have a leader. They do have to have a master. They need discipline and training too. Then you have a great dog who is well behaved and trained to listen. I loved the dog whisperer that was on TV years ago. I learned a lot about dogs. I'm always a little too soft and tend to baby them. But if I raise my voice they stop and listen. They know I mean it then. My wrong. not them.

Yet again a great camp with you two. Set up great, sense of humour and comments on the crazy world we live in spot on. Like you I have been on a journey of getting through the grief of losing a much loved dog, my Dom passed away from cancer a day after you lost Brucie. After 8 weeks we couldn’t take the empty space any longer and got a puppy and like you we at times call our little fella Dom. Its all part of the journey. I’d like you to know I only recently found your channel (not long before Brucie passed) and camping with you has been an absolute blessing and great help of coming to terms with our loss. Tony I have to tell you how much I envy your ability to do this. If I wanted to do this here in the States, I'd have to worry about predators getting a whiff of the food, and coming to visit. 😄 The awning looks great, and that heater is thankfully free of that annoying clicking sound so many diesel heaters make. I was going to suggest the very thing you decided to do with the toggle. Seam seal the upper, underneath the toggle loop, and on the inside as well. Another great camp!
