Sleeping in a tent when it's raining is the most pleasant thing... And crawling into your sleeping bag after some beer, red wine or whiskey, but also a good meal, and waking up in the morning, and make a cup of coffee in the tent, enjoy the night's sleep, enjoy the thoughts of the coming day, the thoughts of a fantastic morning food for his coffee, all while the sun rises in the sky and your thoughts rise positively, and the thoughts of all the wonderful challenges the new day will challenge one..!

While it's a decent size, it looks a very draughty and cold one with the hugs gaps between the ground and flysheet coupled with a mostly mesh inner.

What's your sense of the demographic breakdown of hikers on the West Highland Way, i.e. Scots, other UK citizens, europeans, all others? I suppose I could research this myself but I'm curious what you and your friends have seen. On winter backpacking trips, I used to lie in my tent in the snow frying little slices of Spam for an hour or more in the morning. The aroma of a hot breakfast permeated the area and made the other Boy Scouts envious. 😈
