Camping La Viorna Site Review - Is this the best place to camp in Northern Spain ? Located in Cantabria at the gateway to the Picos de Europe this delightful campsite , run by a delightful family wowed us when we stayed. We originally planned to stay for 5 nights but stayed for 11. There are other VLOGS about the things we got up to while we where here but this one is dedicated to showing around the site which no we really enjoyed.

Thank you guys for this review. We are looking to travel to Spain in February, this looks like a site that could be good for us to use. Can I just ask what the roads are like getting to it please?

Hi guys , the roads were not too bad and on the site there were bigger vehicles than us and plenty of caravans. I remember a couple of places were there were rock overhangs where a bit of common sense was needed to allow oncoming vehicles to pass but otherwise no problems. We loved it here . @@helenandmartinsTreks Hi Helen, thank you for your help. We would love to go to such places abroad but I am 75 and Pat is 71 and assume that insurance would be prohibitive especially considering Pat has a heart condition. There is also the issue of tablets, we don't know if we could get a three month supply from the docs, as if we came it would have to be for that length of time. Our van doesn't have the right kind of gas bottles for Europe either and it seems expensive converting it to a Gaslow system.
