Lol... Probably my father's favorite food was dinty Moore's beef stew. And they still make it. When I was a kid in the '50s, we often lost power when there was storms. So as soon as the wind started to blow, my dad would get out the Coleman stove, the white gas, and the can of dinty Moore beef stew. He would go hungry all evening until the power went out and he could heat his dinty moore over the camp stove by candlelight. Next best thing to actually going camping I guess...

It was nice Naomi was able to enjoy the camp sight to😀 I would not have hauled all that gear down either, especially after a grueling hike.

I never hike in hot/humid weather; nope! Spring and fall are my favorite seasons of the year. Plenty of water is important, as well as protein and carbs. Nice campsite!

Hearing a Loon is super cool. A very haunting and distinctive call. Hope you get to explore more. Stay well and safe.

Me again... You sounded chastened about the difficulty of your hike. But you had nothing to compare it to. And one of the hardest things ever is trying to hike in hot humid weather. And you always have to bring twice as much water as you think you need. And it will always take you twice as long as you think it will. I started hiking at age 3 and then summited Washington the first time at age 8. But if I had to start at your age, I never would have made it. (Not that you are old!!!).

There are plenty of mountains with fantastic views that are lower than 6,000 ft. You can work your way up to Mount Washington.

If you want to hike Mt Washington, take the Jewel Trail Up and the Ammonoosuc Ravine trail down. Easy trails up relatively speaking for the mountain. They both start/end at a parking lot just before the Cog Railway base station.

Don't feel bad I feel the same way when I'm camping in the woods I don't want noisy neighbors camping next to me either because I go to the woods myself just to enjoy the sounds of nature and when you have neighbors camping next to you and you lose out on the beautiful music of nature anyway keep up the good KZbin videos you are definitely one of my favorites wondering woodsman

Looks like bugs weren't too bad at night. I think Mt. Monadnock is just over 3000 ft high. I wonder how much elevation you did on that hike, maybe 2000ft or so. It looked roughly about that to me!!

You made me laugh when you said that some people think that I don't like people, I remember a while back a lady left a kinda nasty comment about that. I wanted to tell her mind your own business, but I left it alone, as she probably would have had some choice words for me also🥴. Love your camping videos.

Cliff!. I hit pause to take a shower but apparently this video started again. I could hear a voice and I thought gee whoever that is sounds dangerously exhausted.! Please take care. When you were hiking those granite trails last video I thought your footsteps sounded hurried like you had General Patton cracking a whip over you.Hope the beach in Rhode Island soothes you and energizes you. Again please take care.

One reason why you may have felt so bad in this adventure is because Propel has no sugar in it. Believe it or not you need to have sugar in your electrolyte intake. The sugar molecule is required to carry the salt into your body. It amazes me that the company's don't know this. When you are in a situation of dehydration your body requires salt. Salt helps you increase the fluid level. It could be in a hike where you are hot or you may be sick with the flu and have diarrhea. In each case you should always eat some salt and also some sugar . Artificial sweeteners don't do the trick. Potassium is also a good thing if you are dehydrated. People like to "poo-poo" ( no pun intended) sugar but your body needs sugar in the case of dehydration. When you have diarrhea you can often improve it just by eating something with salt and something with sugar. These electrolyte drinks should not be used on a regular basis. They are meant for times when you are exercising a lot , sweating a lot or just plain losing fluids. The sugar and salt in them would be something you would want to avoid unless you are in extreme conditions. I hope this helps. You walk and exercise a lot and would benefit from drinking them especially when it is hot.
