Join us on our unforgettable family adventure as we explore the breathtaking beauty of the Northwoods in Minnesota! We share our final day at a campsite nestled on the shores of a remote lake. It was an incredible getaway for our family of four.
After enjoying a bit of luxury with a refreshing hot shower, we set out on an exciting journey to Grand Portage, a charming town located on the Canadian border. The day was filled with awe-inspiring sights and unforgettable experiences. Our first stop was an incredible overlook on Lake Superior, where we were treated to panoramic views that left us speechless.
Next, we ventured to Grand Portage State Park, home to a majestic waterfall that serves as a natural divide between the United States and Canada. Standing in awe of the falls, we marveled at the sheer force of nature and the symbolic significance of this international boundary.
As the day wound down, we returned to our cozy cabin, where a crackling fire and serene lake awaited us. To cap off our incredible journey, we indulged in a delicious homemade nacho feast and reflected on the amazing week-long trip we had in the Northwoods. It was a truly magical experience, one that brought us closer as a family and allowed us to connect with nature in its purest form.
Join us as we share the highlights of our Northwoods adventure, from breathtaking overlooks to awe-inspiring waterfalls and peaceful moments on the lake. Witness the beauty of Minnesota's wilderness through our lens and feel inspired to embark on your own family escapade in nature.

Oooh super serene video, thanks guys! Rylie-so much admiration for you re engaging with your fitness goals! And those family hikes will all count towards your well being. Love seeing sweet Olivia taking it all in! She's loving all this precious time with her family! I wondered if you've made a short video on how Ellie came to join your family? Would love to know! We have 4 doggos here at home and they are so special to us 🙂 Jack, love your reflections on the quiet life in nature. Jack: This is a very useful video for you to review as a Predator 2000 inverter owner: kzbin.info/www/bejne/lamZmoyloZibl80 . I say this because the CO detectors in these units are known for failure and given your operation of the device outdoors you don't need such safeties. The attached video discusses how to disable the sensor. I might feel that the benefits of this disconnect might outweigh the risks if you were running the inverter say, in an attached garage with the door open, barring the presence of a dedicated CO detector. But in the woods, that CO detector is as useful as a fire extinguisher inside the core of a nuclear reactor, if you catch my drift.
@TinyCabinLife
@TinyCabinLife Жыл бұрын
Thanks for sharing this! Is there a reason to remove the sensor?
@djonesey5
@djonesey5 Жыл бұрын
@@TinyCabinLife Jack: the only reason to disconnect (it can be reconnected, and won't be removed) the sensor prophylactical is to avoid the generator shutting down should the CO detector fail--as it has on many a Predator model (including my 3500 series. Sadly, "it's a thing" with this model line across the various size inverters.) Regardless, the technique to disable the CO detector should be at very least be known, if not effected prior to camping, in case the failing CO detector problem manifests while away from home. Clearly you know enough not to run an internal combustion engine indoors, rendering the CO nanny-device and its propensity to fail in this model line, unhelpful for you to have connected. If the CO fails it will shut off a cranked inverter and prevent an unstarted inverter from successfully cranking and turning over the engine. Best, Dave.

@@djonesey5 Ah gotcha 👍🏽👍🏽 I appreciate it!
@djonesey5
@djonesey5 Жыл бұрын
@@TinyCabinLife Jack, rather than jumping wires like the video suggests, its easier to undo 2 metal paper clips. Disconnect the CO connector as per the video, and stick one end of an unbent metal paper clip in the end of the disconnected connector with the center black wire, and the other end of that paper clip in the end of the disconnected connector with the peach wire. Then, use that second unbent metal paper clip to stick it in the end of the disconnected connector with the yellow wire, and the other end of the paper clip into the end of the disconnected connector with white wire with the black stripe. These two "jumpers" trick the generator into thinking that no CO is detected in the air at all times. Male sure that the paper clips mentioned above don't come into contact with one another. : - )

I'm not sure i'd trust that scale or its app. 14% body fat for a 20-29 year old female is unusually low. Competitive female athletes tend to fall in the 15-20% range. And I have a hard time believing she has 144lb of muscle as i'm not convinced she even weighs 144lb. Now if these were the husbands numbers, i would definitely believe them.

Loved the video! You did an amazing job capturing the beauty of the north shore. You provided me with mental vacation on my morning break! It is awesome that Rylie and Olivia are able to travel with you and Ellie. You are very blessed.
