Most diplomatic response to a shitty toilet I have ever witnessed! Congratulations on not dying once again. So funny when you filmed through that part of Lombok which was so dry I immediately thought of Australia...looks like home in summer only for you to mention Australia. Lombok really is like many different environments in one island. Some of the beaches look like they are on the edge of a desert. Looking forward to seeing more of them in your final video. Hopefully you get a chance to cool off with a swim. Looking forward to even greater cinematics on that sensational road you mentioned at the end of the video.

And yeah I think that's one of the main takeaways from this whole trip - it was incredible to see such varied landscapes in a relatively small area. That's one of the special things about Lombok, I think. Considering we're not that far from Aus on a map, it makes sense that a little bit of it felt as if I was down under! The road next week is sensational...perhaps my new favourite road in Lombok

That's a big call on the road especially after you mentioned the other road you took a motorcyle down (think it was the west coast in an episode from a few years ago) was up there with some of the great roads of the world. Good job josh, so happy to see you've been tortured again hahaha, after you finish this lombok cycling series maybe you can share all the preparations, what to do and not to do, including things that you are not anticipated before or may be things like the routes, the accommodation and the closest alfamart from point to point. If it is well Informed it can help other cyclist not so exhausted as you look like, in case they are interested to feel the same experience that you have. Nicely spotted! Yes it was mid August :) in part three where I was racing past the crowds in the just street, that was 1 week before independence day...so I think they were practicing? In this part, I've been told that the people I passed towards the end was actually a wedding celebration! The heat was tough but totally worth it. I wanted to do it in the dry season before the rain came again. Thanks for taking the time to watch, I really appreciate it 😁

@@JoshEdwardsFilms Yeah, Can't imagine how slippery and wet it would be. Worst with broken brakes and all, it can be end up very badly! That's why in wet seasons many outdoor activities put on hold. Just like winter I guess, but a little bit friendlier. Well, I agreed with you to cycle in dry season. But man, august's scorch is something else. August is the driest period of dry season. Maybe next time you can consider may-june.
