Poor real mama couldn't keep up with her young'uns and they latched onto Louise - precious & hilarious! Thanks for taking us along, Louise, and a big hello to Emily when ya get home & Joanie also. Lou is out there pulling birds and mooning tourits. Living her best life basicly. As a Swede, I am amazed how organized the camping is, here you just walk anywhere and pitch your tent for a few nights, no matter who owns the land, but don't forget the thermacell....

Wow, I went back and watched that again and indeed how many different shots Lou must have set up by herself, in a rush, with all that luggage for 10 seconds, that most people wont even realize the effort to frame. Definitely going to extra mile to produce professional videos.
@mrswelsh2467 Жыл бұрын
@@moneyprofessional ah that’s pretty cool that you went back and checked out the bit I was talking about ☺️ I couldn’t agree more with you, the magic is that most people don’t notice and I suppose that’s what is intended, comfortable but immersive viewing. 100% effort in every video and that’s why they deserve their success. Thank you for commenting on my comment, has made me smile.

Colonel Waugh and his wife started a pottery on Brownsea in 1852. They had visited the island before buying it and believed the clay they found would be suitable for porcelain, to make them a fortune. They were backed by geologists and banks, and borrowed money to create the Brownsea Clay and Pottery Company.

If memory serves me correctly there was also a short narrow gauge railway possibly with some remnants still to be seen which transported the clay from the pit to the pottery.

Unfortunately the clay wasn’t good enough for porcelain so they made drainpipes and chimney pots instead

I love this approach to learn about new places. Of course you were not wild, wild camping but to safely see wildlife accustomed to public whilst carrying expensive equipment is probably inviting for many people. I admit being a little bored after about 3 years of watching Van daily life of what they ingest, digest and evacuate! I am interested in how people travel and places that would be accessible for me at this age! I can see that KZbinr Vanlifers (property owners- most of them) have to up their game, round the changes etc. YOu have made that your work and other work to earn your income. I appreciate the joy given to people like me, who cannot afford to be a patreon of any KZbinr, not on my pension, SO THANK YOU. However, for a single woman, your Mum's age, for my own mentality I have to get out of my dark French house which I admit is a bonus in this heat but brings on major depression in the winter months or even summer if it is too hot to be in the sunshine and shade. Just returned from a 5 day trip including journey days to La Rochelle, and a fave 'sort of secret and wild now' parking at Ile de Ré. I explored your parking suggestions for parking on the coastline with an amazing place where I finished my birthday trip with the freshest quality in size and taste best 'moules marinières' of my life, EVER! No shade so I wouldnt wish to stay there for long! The fun of the one I ate out was interesting to find as a Kangoo van but a larger vehicle would have found access almost impossible ... which suits me to be away from camper van sardines! It's good to do one's own research...part of the fun of exploring..however, challenge of finding a suitable power bank suitable for my temporary van situation and budget is difficult for a non techie person. The hand held portable phone charger runs out as quickly as the iphone! A french man told me to buy a solar panel and he said he didn't have a leisure battery! Anyway... I enjoy your changes of content but have missed a week of vloggers! Looking fwd to why you've had to decamp so fast!

Brilliant video Louise. I aughed out loud at the mooning during the day, visitors don't normally experience 2 moons in one day. The wildlife shots were amazing ,but my favourite were the ducklings, sooo cute.I was lucky enough to visit Brownsea Island as a classroom helper with about 25 little munchkins. I was knackered when I got home, but it is a very beautiul and special place and definitely worth the visit. Thanks for the laughs. Hugs Wiltshire

Hi Emily, this weeks vid was particularly interesting - Brownsea Island is 20 minutes up the road from us…..and we’ve never been! Looks like we’re going to have to go now. Well, your missus does some brave things on her own and I don’t mean mooning at tourists or being seen without her hat….she works hard on those films. I think many managed wildlife locations in the UK have been shuttered due to Avian Flu - I know the Farne Islands are so, and I have been meaning to say I would DEARLY LOVE for you to make a visit up to Seahouses and take the trip over to Inner Farne and Staples. The birding is absolutely mental with Puffins zooming all around and Puffins, Guillemots, Razorbills, Sandwich Terns, Common Terns, Roseate Terns, Arctic Terns, Shags, Cormorants and Eider Ducks nesting at your feet. It's an unreal experience.
