I think this channel is better than a lot of other bushcraft channels because its more real. Things go wrong, sometimes you get drenched, and sometimes your tarp blows away in the night. Instead of buscrafter telling you how you're doing it wrong or have bad kit, its just fun mistakes and enjoying your time in the woods.
@mx-0163 Жыл бұрын
@bechris9959 I mean yeah. It's KZbin. I don't think anyone is expecting to watch bushcraft documentaries here. Anyone who has ever done bushcraft should know that things go wrong constantly. This is more real because some of the things that go wrong are shown unlike other channels. That's not really difficult to understand I thought.

I forget what Englander's call it. Make sure the item you want to waterproof is clean and dry. Hang it such that no part of the item overlaps, you can make two applications within a day or three of each other. Mix the silicone and paint thinner well, very well, and keep mixing it as you apply it. Use a wide brush to apply it. Don't do this work indoors! Wear old clothes, rubber gloves, and face protection if you can get it. Be smart applying it. Let the item hang in good ventilation for three or four days. Hang it in the sun to accelerate drying. Hope this helps.

Absolutely stunning light show for a camp set up, definitely on my bucket list working nights I've been able to stand out and watch a lot of storms roll over but it's definitely not the same as being out and just laying there relaxing 🙂 hope you ankle is healing up and not giving you to much pain

Thank you it was so beautiful, something I've always wanted to experience 😍 the ankles not too bad, the instability in it is the main issue, hoping to strengthen it up over winter so that I can be ready for longer distances in the spring. Hope you're having a lovely week :) 🌿🐻

This is a brilliant idea. Lightweight, easy to set up, affordable and generally just a cool concept. This is why I love to watch your videos, your not shy to test and show us the results.

Good job on modifying the system- you’ve got the understanding to make things work. Nice atmosphere as usual, something special about the rain at times- glad that this was one of those times! Thanks for sharing ❤

You are a beautiful young lady and the fact that you are not scared out there by yourself makes you more amazing. Personally I would be a little apprehensive especially with all those creepy crawlies. Stay safe, thanks for sharing.

Nice one Claire. Not only being a hiker but I spend a lot of time fishing and spending days and nights under my umbrella is so cool. But you wouldn’t want to carry it far.

Glad to see you out and about and the ankle on the mend! Fishing brollies have gone down hill since I bought mine it seems. While I wouldn't hike with mine, it makes a great bit of kit in my canoe. As instant shelter for breaks and make shift sail too. Mine was bought when I was a school boy, which probably makes it twice as old as you and it still gets used. Brilliant things. Thanks for for sharing your adventures. Al
