Steve, I just want you to know how your videos have affected my life. Back in February of 2024, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer in my neck and leg. I was told that if I lived, I'd be in a wheelchair for the rest of my life. I spent all of February and the first week of March in the hospital. I was extremely depressed and no longer wanted to live. One day, I remembered your videos and started binge watching them all again. They helped get me through a rough time. As of November 22, 2024, I am Cancer free. I walk with a cane. 😊 Thank you for creating fantastic content! You are truly talented! 😊

Love a Steve video. Side note, as someone who has been recently working on building a survival bag/kit for our vehicles, videos like this actually help a lot because it's truthfully showing that you can survive and survive fairly well with even just stuff you can get at most stores and don't have to just get stuff that is marketed as survival gear, etc... It also shows that with a little ingenuity you could really build a basic survival kit with some of the oddest things fairly easily especially when a lot of this stuff can be picked up relatively cheap at discount stores.

As long as you dont build a 'shelter' like he did
@RedRaven85Ай бұрын
@@luhman16afaintstar actually that is a fairly typical shelter type in an emergency/survival type situation. Most survival kits won't have a tent or anything like that in it as they are usually aiming for having a lot of gear in a compact space, so usually the shelter side of things will be a tarp or some other sheet like item that can be tied up and hung in a lean-to or a-frame style shelter like this.

Steve you don't know me, and we almost certainly will never cross paths in person in this life but I just want to let you know that I found your videos, starting with this one, a couple weeks ago. I've watched a ton of them in small town Ontario here since, and you are the person that I feel a lot of us missed out having in our lives, and that's why we are here. I've laughed with someone that began as a stranger on the internet, I've cried with you when you lost your beautiful wife, and I felt like I lost a friend too when Crazy Neighbour passed on. It's been a roller coaster in just a couple weeks, and it's wild but it has really got me thinking to change for the better, and to choose positivity over negativity. You've been through a lot of hard times in your still young life and you've demonstrated to all of us how to handle them with grace, integrity, and your kindness and caring for others has never wavered. I could certainly learn a thing or two from you, and that's exactly what I am doing by watching your videos. Thank you for showing me that love and kindness is not only possible during the worst times but the only right way to move through the short time we all have here. You are a true role model.

Today was an overwhelmingly busy day and seeing a new Steve upload makes the day worth it, cause now I can cozy up and enjoy this video before I go to sleep. Thank you Steve for the video!

I just want you to know, that your videos are what they used to be. Funny, entertaining. You are an amazing person that helps me to get myself together. I hope that you are as happy as me watching you do all the things in these videos. Cheers

It's great to have you back camping!! Love your humor!!! You always brighten my day when a new video comes out. You could do the most regular camping with no gimmicks at all, and we'd still love to watch you camp and make your dinner over the fire! We all love you!
