I used go here once a year for a couple weeks growing up... so many great memories and it has not changed much at all. I had a friend who lived there and had to leave every 90 days like you mentioned. This is probably my favorite place in San Diego. The events and weekly vendors were so cool too.

The video you’ve shown of the beach and the campground is beautiful. I haven’t finished the video yet but I’m always curious at the very beginning of the video when people are giving their descriptions how much they pay. So far you haven’t mentioned the cost for being in this campground. You’ve talked all about single spaces for one night and for a month but you don’t give any rates. In the future when you do your beautiful videos if you could give the breakdown at the beginning of the video then I’ll be able to enjoy all of the views that you show me because in my mind I will be thinking, yes I can afford to stay here, this just might be a nice feature for your future videos. Or you could link them in the description right away otherwise I look at the campsite and I’m thinking oh it’s beautiful but I don’t know if I’ll be able to afford it.

I haven't really added pricing because it varies so much from one weekend to the next. For example - at Campland we stayed in a long term spot which was around $1000/mo for our spot. But if you were a section back the price dropped by about 20%. This was also in the height of COVID so it could be more or less now. And beach front spots are much more than spots in the back, etc. For pricing, it's best to visit the Campground's website because it changes drastically during the season, on weekend/weekdays, type of spot, etc.

We didn't have an issue in the off season (Dec/Jan). They have a ton of sites and I have a feeling it's not too difficult during the busy season -- but you may not get an oceanside, etc.
