Watching this video with such a mixed feeling. I love Campsie so much. I had left(/lost) so much there. If I were there again, I would still walk in it over and over again. Thank you for sharing this.

Thanks for the memories, I did that walk 20 odd years ago, still looks like its got great shops and markets, not to mention the amount of people crowding the sidewalk. Thanks for your time and effort. Great Channel this one. Cheers.

At the end of the vidio section of Beamish street across the road are the council library and chambers. In my youth my grandmother had a shop next to the library where the chambers now stand. We lived in Eight avenue. Change and difference drive the world.

I would be called the “R” word if I made any Anglo-Saxon comment. All I can say is Anglo st needs a name changed not to mention Anzac pde & while your at midaswell pull that Australia 🇦🇺 flag down it means nothing there obviously!!! What happened to assimilation so many of Australia once proud Anglo Saxon suburbs have all turned in to little country’s of where all different nationalities have set up camp!! They all have their own micro economy’s set up all the money in theses suburbs stay in them you just have to look at all the Mansions they have built around these suburbs!!! Well done Australia Government you have managed the Imergration & housing issue brilliantly for some!! No wonder medium house 🏡 prices are now $100000 in most of Sydney $300000 if you live in a yuppie suburb!!!! What a joke bring on the great crash you’ll see how much your over inflated property’s are worth then!!! Boom then Bust it’s a cycle!!

Let's get one thing straight. Australia is a settler colony, It's basically stolen land. Second of all ethnic enclaves have always existed especially given the fact that Australia relies on high levels of immigration. You're talking about Anglo Saxons but i've grown up in the area and as early as the 80's i don't remember Campsie having much "Anglo Presence". These areas always change hands from one ethnic group to another. It used to be dominated by Greek migrants and then Chinese from South East Asia went there and then people from Hong Kong and then mainland Chinese, In 10 years from what i've seen it'll probably end up having a Nepalese/South Asian majority. I don't even know why you want everything to be Anglo. I go to Anglo areas and they're closed by 10:00 PM. These ethnic areas have better food and open late. So i'm not sure what you're gripe is. Anglo Saxons don't wanna have kids so you import people, It's that simple.
