I tried to book here last summer but no luck! Anyway which spot is close to the shower? I have 3 kids so I need to know LOL. Also if you can show the beach that would be awesome as well, thanks in advance.

Hi! I guess I'm lucky, I was able to book here 3 times last year. I only went one time and cancelled the other 2 trips. Did you managed to book this year? There are 2 shower buildings in Lightning Lake Large loop. Your best options are probably sites 14-18. These sites are close to the shower building, playground and a path to the Spruce Bay beach. Alternatively, you can book sites 79-81, which share the same shower building as the previous campsites that I mentioned. Sites 32-35 and 56-60 are the closest to the other shower building. You'll be farther from the playground and Spruce Bay though. But, if you want to take a walk to Lightning Lake's day-use area, these sites are nice because you're pretty close to Lone Duck Bay trail. Unfortunately, I don't have a proper video of the beach. If you search for "Spruce Bay Lightning Lake" here on KZbin, you'll be able to find videos that other campers have shared.

I manage to book at Sasquatch campground for 3 nights next week but I didn't know that they don't have showers there so I am not sure if my wife can stay there that long, its only 1.5hrs drive from my place so its okay. May be you can give tips how to book a campsite since its getting very difficult to book one these days. Anyway thanks again.

​@@ruvrandomusefulvideos which campground will you be in? If you'll be in Lakeside campground, there's one outdoor shower close to the playground. I didn't get to use it but i think it doesn't provide hot water. You can drive that way too if that's not where you'll be staying. Or, buy a shower tent and use tabo and timba in your campsite hehe. I understand the need for showering. It's hard to sleep feeling icky. :D For tips on booking a campsite, just keep an eye for cancellations. Most of my trips are from cancellations. You'll just have to randomly check throughout the day, especially 7 - 3 days before your intended trip. Good luck!
