I feel like the school has some western elements in it. When you go to places like the US and Canada, in most universities we don’t cook in the hostels. The school has a meal plan system where we subscribe to it and use our meal plan cards for eating all the time. Also, it might be like the likelihood of a fire outbreak is high when students cook in the hostels. These properties are quite expensive. I don’t really know the exact reason. These are just my thoughts. The meal plan is pretty good. Saves a lot of time.

As far as I know all scholarship students who have their accommodation covered live on campus. Unless otherwise. And yes yoh can choose the room options.
