Great video, thanks Daiki! The campus area looks super cool, very american as you mentioned. Little did I know that there is such a campus area in Jyväskylä since I've never been there. It looks very compact and different than in Tampere, where the buildings are separated different ares in the city center and Hervanta etc.

Thanks, yeah the environment of Jyväskylä University is really cozy and awesome :)

I lived in Lappeenranta in Skinnarila (the campus area) for five years, and the Uni is a big block (of awesomeness) and half of the students live in 2 km radius, and this seems big to me, on that regard. I've visited Jyväskylä once when I was in high school but I didn't really get to see much than place we were sleeping and the seminar we were in, but I remember all the beautiful trees, like maples there. I live in Joensuu now and the campus here is also on one spot, both sides of one street, but the architecture there is a bit different on some buildings.

Thank you Daiki for your video. It was really nostalgic to see the campus area (I studied at the Jyväskylä Uni 1994-98).

Kiva sattuma! Opiskelin Jyväskylän yliopistossa samaan aikaan kuin sinäkin, kunnes muutin vuonna 2017 Helsinkiin, jossa myös nykyään asun.

Hello Daiky, thank you for your video. I recently visited the University of Helsinki next to the Helsinki Cathedral. The architecture of the library was amazing. Universities in France aren't that fancy :)

Wonderful video! I just got accepted to be an exchange student here next semester! Any advice or comments?
@DAIKIFinlandLife2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! That's great! What I can say is be active especially in the first and second week since there are many student events and parties :) If you are Erasmus, it would be cool to hang out with not only other Erasmus students but also locals and other international students (in my opinion) Haha

whats the probability of getting the job for student in this city??
@DAIKIFinlandLife3 жыл бұрын
I would say not that a high probability. In Jyväskylä there are not many job opportunities so not only international students but also Finnish students try to find a job in other bigger cities.
