It was a good one! This was our first time hunting goldeneyes and we learned pretty quickly why they are called whistlers.

Did they same back in the mid 70s hunted Cass an Big Lake best shoot was the Day of the storm that sunk the Edmund Fitzgerald shot 8 different species of ducks plus some Canadian Honkers its-been said I Majored in duck hunting

I still hunt Cass and the mixed bags are still there to be had, tons of fun up here...just not after hunting season, after hunting is over it's bitterly cold.

Nice! For geese we will use Kent Fasteel 2.0s 1 shot just about all season. Once the bigger geese start moving through we will go to the BB

@@CampusWaterfowl Central Illinois on the Illinois River, Upper Peoria Lake. It's a part of the river thats 2 miles wide at times. Check out the channel and see our opening day shoot. We podded the single decoys like yall did but made some long lines for the next trip!
