I love this! I love how the husband becomes an automatic employee. I used to do markets in British Columbia and my husband would help me at every market. Whether it’s setting up or helping customers. It was such a fun experience. I miss it 😊

I really love watching your market vlog videos! I just had my first market this weekend and it went so incredibly well, I rewarded myself by purchasing your beanie pattern of course! I made one for my mom using the bernat velvet in mocha and one for my 4 year old in the pink, and they are just so gorgeous! When you’ve completed the hat were do you put the seam where you join w/ slip stitches, on the side fold of the beanie or centered in the back? I’m not sure what looks best.. and for anyone debating on getting the pattern do it! It is so easy and works up so fast! Really love them. ❤️❤️☺️

I tend to not prep much inventory mid-season, actually! I try to prep as much as I can before and then work my way through it! That is unless I sell out of something early on, like chickens! I'd love to hear how some of your weekend markets go!! :) ❤️

This was nice, Camryn. I love coming with you to shows. Off topic here, but do you have problems with theft and how do you keep track of your inventory?

Personally, I do not have very many issues with theft. I'm sure it has occurred without me knowing at some point, but there are many factors going into theft prevention that occur non-overtly. I track my inventory by doing a complete walkthrough pre-season, noting down exactly what I have and how many. Then, I mark every sale I make as I go through a season. Finally, I do another walkthrough at the end, making sure I properly accounted every sale.

Hi there! Many places don't have them every weekend, but rather seasonally! Usually there will be specific locations that do 2-3 months of summer markets, somewhere else that does some fall ones, and so on. The best places to look are places that operate more seasonally, such as pumpkin patches, Christmas tree places where many families go, and so on!
