a team spending money is a joy, but it's a plastic joy. it's amazing for your team to have the best players, win trophies and compete for league's but it's easy. true success feels sweeter after hard times and hard work. a team full of player from the local area is more satisfying to support and is less toxic than a money ball team.

That is true in many ways but for example in BPL the big money is now in every team so It's still amazing to win. Chelsea have had to wait for the BPL and UCL titles so It feels just as good as for any other supporter other than Bayern, Juve, Barca, PSG fans who get title after title. Winning can become too easy and then you won't really enjoy it anymore as you already know the titles yours.

I somewhat agree... this is why I am an advocate for the salary cap. (limit on how much money can be spent on players) It works out beautifully, poorer clubs have the opportunity to compete for titles, and rich clubs can feel that championships are deserved when they win them.
