Same. I would have liked to see more strategy too. At the end each smart team member only had to kill about 3 discord players, and if they knew this stage was coming, they could have easily planned for it. When i was in the military one of the things they taught us while defending a position simikar to this (with a wide open area between the attackers and defenders) is that you set up barriers to slow the advance that create opportunities to pick them off (the rockets obviously nullified this). But another thing you do is have satilite positions with an angle on where they are likely to stage thier attack. This divides the focus of the advance and creates an opportunity for the defenders to advance and close the gap, forcing them to change targets as well. The traps were a great idea, but requires knowledge of exact positions or forcing them to move into that area to ne effective. If the smart side isnt aware of how fancy will progress the stages then theres almost no way to adequately prepare. Otherwise if everyone knew what the stages would be and the strengths of each, they wouldnt have to waste time on a battle royal, and the discord side would push to prevent the final stage where they had no advantage other than numbers, and the smart side would have every advantage and just leisurely pick them off. I think the lack of structure is the only complaint i might have, but this is still a highly entertaining series. Maybe facny will set up a more structured objective based game in the future (requires a lot of effort to keep any one side from having a decisive advantage like he does with his random farming vids), but i wpukd very much like to see something real strategy and forsight neing implemented. Yes its just a game, but once in a while you still crave that element of realism that gets you emotionally invested on multiple levels.

@@ChickenJoe-tq6xd i wish i was good enough to pull it off. Its one thing to commentate on a sport, its an entirely different thing to play it. The most difficult part is getting ppl to cooperate and play their roles as instructed. Back when i played halo 3 (the glory days), it was always the same story. On the 9v9 objective playlists like capture the flag, or plant the bomb, it was always the ones that played as a group that won. The randoms just wanted to treat it as any other kill score game and would typically either be dead weight or disrupt the entire organisation by stealing power weapons needed to defend a position like with the rocket launcher and shot gun, or suppress and disrupt the momentum of the enemy like with the sniper rifle. The randoms would always go after the easy targets, not slecetively target the driver of a guasse or warthog.
