Was just thinking the same when they were saying how bad the suspension was. Sticking a new set of dampers on a shit old vehicle is a great way of transforming it into something half decent for little money even if you go for stock parts.

This video encouraged me buying my first big bike. I have had big bike license since 2021 but I haven't bought or driven a motorbike since. So today, after watching this remarkable piece of fun, I called the guy on marketplace and 2 hours later, I'm a happy owner of a Kawasaki ZX-6R 1998 G1 in a very rare Ferrari red color, for 1200 quid. I have to admit that I'm not an expert of motorbikes so I followed Alex's refined used vehicle buying guide (as soon as the engine started, we shook hands).

I used to buy old motor cycles in the 80s /90s i filled up my parents garden with em every weekend bout 15 of us would go over the local feilds it was great fun useing road bikes on off road trails sometimes one would break /blow up i remember towing a 400cc honda with the chain on a old mz 250 my teens where an adventure to say the least . As a Honda Grom owner, basically the Moneky with a different body kit, I approve of this video! Keep these coming. Maybe see if you two can rent or borrow some Groms/Monkeys and take them on a multi day trip around the UK to Scotland or something?? That would be awesome! Take some back roads to get there, not just highways.

Bikes are pure freedom. I loved my '04 SV650s but my '21 Ninja1000sx is absolutely mental, i love it more and more the more i ride it. Next up is either an RS250 to partner the RS125 i have or a CR500r.

125's don't often make it to old age. They are mostly used and abused by younger people.

Any japanese 4 stroke. Avoid chinese bikes, KTMs and 2 strokes if you want reliability.

Cbf125 or cbr125 are often looked after by other new starters and typically can be sold on without much price loss if any when you outgrow them

@krakenkill I've been looking at cb125's they start low but by the time you get to the ones that don't have arter market tail tidy slip on exhaust cheapest indicators and look generally abused they aren't much cheaper than a new one.

Always hyped to see more moto content, but don't start smashing vehicles for the sake of a cheap laugh. It's dumb when TG/GT does it too; even in the state they were in, both of those bikes had potential for saving, or at worst parts donors. Throwing them off a cliff and then scrapping them is just wasteful, and there's no shot you crawled about in the bushes for days picking up all the glass and shrapnel so that's doubly bad environmentally.
