there are just no better Qbs in the draft or available for trade. our best hope is extending Geno 2yrs for cheap (35mil/yr tops) and use the savings to take the weight off of his shoulders. If we can use the draft pick (saved by not drafting a QB) and cap savings to strengthen the Oline, run game, and defense, we can make Geno a game manager. worked with russell wilson for a time.

I think Haynes will be good once he gets some experience and strength for the NFL level. But once we get a couple guards, and if Abe stays healthy (which he is showing) we will be improved so much. I think we have a bright future and I think they you guys. Geno isn't the best but he's decent and if we can build around him, we will be alright. But I think Grubb needs to not only run more but more play action.

That's kinda nonsense, the at best part. Yeah we are currently a second tier team for sure. That's not a bad place to be. Let's say we only get one additional upgrade that works out on the OL and any other replacement players next year only being as good as what we got now. If we do that, change up play calling to increase the number of runs, and clean up the dumb penalties then I think we are bottom of the top tier of teams

Honestly, we got blown out by the bills at home and rams went toe to toe with them. They only have up 9 points to the jets and we struggled with them. However we do have 1st year everything coach wise so it’s a growing year I would say. I think we can beat the rams in LA bc we are better on the road this season

I know it’s highly unlikely but there is a chance that the tiebreaker between Seattle and Los Angeles comes down to a scoring tiebreaker if Seattle and Los Angeles are tied in both Strength of Victory and Strength of Schedule (i.e. best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed).

My understanding is to make playoffs we need 1) LA to lose out, we win out. This is the obvious route 2) LA win vs ARI then lose to SEA + SEA win out + a whole stack of results. (+4 wins on the below 10 results) The results I see we need are: DEN + MIA + ATL win out CHI lose out ARI lose to Rams then Win vs 49ers That takes our 5 teams to 7/10 on the above Whilst also on the Rams side MIN + 49ers + LV to lose out BUF win out NO win against LV lose against TB. That takes their 5 teams to 3/10. If we get that +4 then we get the West

I totally disagree, respectfully. I don't see the immediate future very bright to be honest. What I see is a team stuck at 9-8 mediocracy and a GM thinking we are under achieving. You are what your record says you are and until John realizes that and makes the correct moves we will remain a fringe playoff team that requires help to get in, every year. Now, that could happen, maybe John has had a change of perspective, but I have to see it. Other than that, informative video.
