I love these 79/99cc engine builds. Not enough people do ‘em. My best gear ratio that I like for all around is 12/70 on 15 inch tires. I used this gear ratio when I went into Portland Indiana and did a few runs there. Only got to 48 mph. My bike is a stripped down Coleman ct100u which is pretty much a stubby little rascal.

Love the videos. I put a Ducar with a 65 tooth sprocket in my rascal lite made it a street beast but the area i live is more turns and hills i can only hit 42mph before i have to let off for a turn but it feels like it has a lot more .

I wished I had known this. A friend of mine gave me a Mini bike With th a motor this size. When I First road it. It wouldn't pull me up a Hill. I was going to fix it for my best friend so he could ride. He died last week. I want him to be able to enjoy riding with his best friend before he died. I wished I would have seen this video. You are providing very useful comparisons that really help in the decision making process while choosing new parts for engine builds, I am very thankful!👍 Do you have any experience with the dynocams cm. 265 cam? I just purchased one for my 212 build and I was wondering how you thought it would stack up against say a superman 265 cam which I have in another engine. It's going in a megamoto 212 with 30 series and juggernaut. 9.75 compression, 27-25 valves in ported head, 24mm pwk carb. Does this sound like a good setup for the bike? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for testing all this stuff for us

Hey, quick question ! Have you had any issues with rear axels on you cc 100 x I’ve replaced bearings, straightened axel , greased and twice after about 4-8 hrs riding shaking a lil a twice it’s worped ! Not over torqued, I go by specs. ???? Rim isn’t perfect I’ve hit few bumps . But rims are bent enough I’d say replace . Only thing I know 1-replace wheel /& assembly or 2 pull my 212 billet engine and get another bike. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks for any input

@black66. By chance have you had any issues with this brake? I have just put this bike together and when I apply the break, the caliper does not return to being fully open. Any suggestions??? Thank you.

I use a couple small washers behind the caliper mount to align the caliper on the disk better.

What is your clutch engagement rpm? Factory is usually around 2000. Increase that for quicker speeds might also increase top end slightly.

I hit 50 mph on my bone stalk Coleman that has a 196cc motor by removing the jack shaft and leaving the 47 tooth sprocket, it needs some better tires tho.😅

Im 220lbs so I need torque lol my 65 tooth is about as small as I can go I'm in a gated lake community there's a few of us on mini bikes it's a blast but we have lots of hills

Dave, I think 5 teeth on the rear sprocket was too drastic of a change. I would only change 2-3 teeth at a time.

Yeah big dog I had mine going 38mph gps and it was smooth I was happy with that until I tilted it on its side to do a 360 burnout and it slipped the rod I fixed it and gave it to a kid because I had my ducar welp that's my story that 98cc hauled my azz around no problem for months
