This is as far as i know, pls correct me if im wrong. Armor n magic res stack multiplicatively with dmg reduction while dmg reduction and amp stack additively (you can get higher than 100%) So if you just have 100% dmg reduction you dont need magic res or armor. Now a few problems occurs if you only have exactly 100% dmg reduction, you can reduce this dmg reduction with spell dmg amp which will make it not 100% anymore. . With that, when you turn rapier into "spell" rapier, It reduce your bb reduction against "spell" . Also medusa mana shield and kunka ship stack multiplicatively with other source of reduction so you dont just add those reduction to standard dmg reduction stat. . So in 2:41 bb only have 78% dmg reduction before ship and magic res, with 1 magic rapier he only have 53% dmg reduction before ships n magic res, the rest stack multiplicatively so in theory you can't get 100% reduction unless the dmg is small enough it rounded down to 0 but it is still not 100% so maybe if your stack of finger is high enough you can still deal dmg against that. . 5:13 it should be 40% reduction bcs dmg reduction and dmg amp stack additively not multiplicatively

correcting myself, turns dmg amp that increase outgoing dmg like kaya and spell rapier adds multiplicatively with dmg amp that increase incoming dmg like veil/shivas (this still stack additively with incoming dmg reduction like enrage), so BB still have 78% dmg reduction, not 53%

Few pieces of info: 1) Pipe has less base magic res because it provides other part of it as an aura. 2) Arcanist's Armor (T5 neutral) also provides separate aura that stacks with other sources of magic resistance 3) I wouldn't say Crimson Guard should be out of competition. It does not provide barrier, but a plain physical damage reduction based off of user max hp. It would GREATLY simplify the issue with any minor damage numbers still being dealt as it can provide pretty big numbers of damage reduction rather easily. So on top of what you already did you can just add pipe, arcanist and crimson guard to the equation and MAYBE you will be able to cut one or two heroes from the draft to make it way more achievable and not requiring full stack of 5.

I think you forgot to mention pudge whose third ability reduces all of the incoming damage by a certain amount and not by percentage. This reduction is added after all the rest so basically if you have 99.99% damage reduction and then you activate pudge's third ability the damage should be 0

Middle-length answer: no, but technically yes. Here's how: Dmg reduces to 1, then natural hero regen nullifies the actual damage taken. When it comes to direct reduction %, the math ends out with "yes, and technically, still yes." Where it just leads to 0 dmg even before regen is counted.

Ive tested it, most damage reduction is additive while resistance is multiplicative. Again most of them, not all (Example visage damage reduction feels like damage resist) 1. 100% all damage reduction should be possible from Ursa ult+ Bounty invis alone, you dispell the Bounty invis by pressing Ursa ult. Also this not only block physical and magic, it also block pure damage. 2. 100% physical reduction to any hero is easily achieved by Lich shield + Bounty invis (or just Wyvern 3rd, but thats outside our rule). But funnily, Mars shield + Bounty invis can give you 100% uptime physical reduction in front (yes you can tank infinite fountain damage this way). 3. 100% magic reduction achieveable from Oracle 2nd (but thats outside our rule), or basically Ursa + Bounty again (but not pure magic reduction). You can also stack bunch of magic resist to get like 99% damage cut.

you just can't get to 100% with multiplicative stacks. bb taking 0 damage from dagon was just damage was so small that it rounded down to 0, but with magic rapiers it is big enough to deal damage

Glimmer does not give more magic res than pipe. Pipe has 20%+8%=28% res, glimmer gives 25%. Not that this would make any difference.
