Yes you are right. If husband is living in adultery, wife can ask huge compensation. But that doesn't mean you have to fulfill every demands of wife. Yes she can file 498a but AB bail is available to husband easily

Husband has to pay maintenance to his wife even if his wife remarriage .Husband cannot proof if his wife remarriage, courts never pass order to enquire as wife has personal right of privacy.
