I feel like the most confusing thing to a chess beginner must be pawn movement. They can only move forward, but can not capture forward. They can only capture diagonally one square. If thats not confusing enough, for each pawns first move only, it can go two squares instead of one. But if you try to do the two square move to pass an opponent's pawn, they can capture you on the square that would have been the one square move, but only if they decide to do it immediately after you move two squares. OK that's the most basic material, now let's move on to the other 5 pieces.
@geli95us

You just explained it man, in 1 paragraph, it takes less than 2 minutes to read, even a newer player wouldn't take much time to grasp the concept, let's have a bit of trust in people, shall we? chess rules are as simple as they get, you can probably explain them in 15 minutes to someone that doesn't even know the game exists. Chess but your pieces are hungry for pawn blood. If you go 3 turns in a row without your piece (not pawn) taking opponent's pawn, you lose.

1:51 How did you learn that the horsey-like piece can move in 90° L angle form when your opponent move the horsey-like piece in a L form?! EDIT: If you think "He just has to see his opponent moving a piece to understand how does a piece move" No. He didn't learn how does the crown move horizontally which he said in the video so he couldn't have known how to make that move with the horsey-like piece

What a player can intuit from previously seen moves can vary, and simp already knows the rules of chess so obv we can't get anything objective. And if he had to move the pieces EXACTLY the way he saw his oponent move them there would be no video anyway so a flimsy balance had to be made by simp.

Chess, but your king has bad voice. You cannot move pieces that aren't connected to your king with other pieces.

If your opponent simply checked you at the end you would lose because you had to move your king and you didn't know how to, but he resigned instead ;D
