The way the Polaris plow mounts to the frame is really slick- so quick and simple. Their hydraulic angle actuator is probably the best in the business as well, in my opinion. And no, I don't actually own a Polaris! lol

The sportsman 570 is one of the most versatile quads ever made. Not too big, not too small, pleanty of power and its AWD is ideal for snow, dirt, sand and trails.

About time I find a video with someone that’s not afraid to use to use some damn power pushing snow. Nicely done! I keep finding videos of people that must be afraid of their machines.

Left spring, or what we on a vehicle would call drivers side is super loose, i think you need to adjust your skids higher as well and you wont scrape up so much dirt in your yard easy adjustment pull the pin on the silver round pads lift plow with winch and adjust...

I plow with a 500 up in Alaska. Chains on the back tires and I jump right on it before the snow gets real heavy or icy. Our lane is over a mile long, so first pass down the center, then adjust the plow to throw right and plow down the right shoulder, last pass throw down the left shoulder...done plowing 3 miles. Synthetic rope much better than steel cable.

That does a great job. I’m getting ready to plow this winter with a cforce 500. I don’t think any modern atv is struggling with power, I think weight is the bigger issue when it comes to deep snow.

It can indeed plow , I've used mine for the past 6 years to plow the Northern Ontario snow, the thing is though you have to keep up on it, it doesn't like wet snow or lots of up and down in very cold weather (too hard on the battery leading to stallouts while under load) I'm sure tire chains would be a good add on (however if you went up a tire size like I did they dont fit) no worries this year though as I retired the plow and got a kubota grand L 3560 with a 64" commercial grade front mounted snowblower :) no more plowing for me . good video

I would hope you can plow with that 👍 I plow Colorado mountain snow all the time with my old Foreman 400. I run the blade angled though. Unless the snow is higher than the machine it always goes ☺️

You could have a 90 horsepower v twin and it wouldnt plow any better then the 570. It all has to do with weight of the machine and traction.

2in PVC pipe on the cutting edge works great cut it the length of the plow

@@daleval2182 you just have too cut it and start on one end slide it on pretty much stays on its own.sinse then I purchased a ranger polaris I put a hydraulic boss v plow on it I purchased the same thing only steel ones from boss they bolt on for only 500.00 not my best investment .the plow works great though

Is it tough to steer with the plow? I know they have power steering just curious

Without power steering yes with power steering no.

We just traded up to a Sportsman 850 to handle a larger plow and to have power steering. Getting into late 60s and fighting with steering was getting old.
