I bought a cheap DIY-Spotwelder Kit for like 20€ on Amazon. There are some equivalents on eBay as well. Then put my old drone battery as a power supply on as I thought that I can save me the extra price for those Kits with the included LiPos since I already had one lying around.

Content is good, but practically every shot is out of focus

yeah, i messed that up. I only use a cheap lense and dont have any preview screen, so I'm practically shooting blind. I'll decrease my aperture for overview shots in the future so that more things are in focus.

That case is definitely designed for a Nintendo DS 😂

Do you recommend this version (SW2) over the other version. I found this much better from videos, but the other one is advertised to weld up to 0.3mm thickness, but have not found any video making experiment and proving it. Both versions were tested up to 0.2mm nickel. Could you please share your views? Thanks.

I've never welded 0.3, and also would recommend welding 2x 0.15 on top of each other instead, welding quality decreases after 0.2 drastically. Like i said in the video welding anything bigger than 0.1 with a small welder like this one is not really feasable. If you only weld one small battery this works fine. Any bigger projects will be easier on a bigger welder.

@@Pryside what you say makes completely sense. So, overall, we can say that SW1 is pretty obsolete then. It is better to go with SW2 with all the new features and we don't need 0.3mm welding any way.

Hi, your explanations 👍👍in the second part of the video are fully right and important, in particular the fact that we must not press too much the electrodes for welding with these "toy-devices". It 's a very good welder for building low Amps batteries, but not more, with a little stop between each welding : if not the battery will suffer quickly , work time is very short but also very hard. For this reason 2 cells in // is a good choice, much better than only one 5A cell like in cheaper welders. Lipo batteries have a short lifetime, when used or not. So I will add a female jack connector direct on the + and - of the battery to charge with my ImaxB6 with good trickle charge at the end , (much better than these little miniaturised chargers) , and also for storage charge when not used ; we don't use these toys every day. Lot of thanks for this useful video!

yup i've got the same one, works really well IMO, i bought it after Vortecks made a video on it the reason charging makes a difference is because it welds with the internal battery's power directly it can go up to longer secs tho and a different electrode setup would help

Hi mate, after watching your last video about your ebike, I decided to order the parts, and build my own. It's amazing. Just wondering how yours is going, and is things like the BMS still going fine?
@Pryside2 жыл бұрын
Yes. The smart bms is going pretty strong. Usually its not the electronics that fail but especially when you are unexpirienced you will have mechanical problems and wiring that will break.

@@Pryside Thanks mate :)Would love an update video on the bike.

Deine Blende ist übrigens zu offen. ;D Ich glaube du bräuchtest nen ND Filter um das Bokeh dennoch zu behalten ohne dass das Bild überbelichtet ist.

I would really like to see a Tutorial : How to repair a vesc on your channel 👍🏻
@Pryside2 жыл бұрын
There are many things that break on vescs, tried to repair them in the past so far I had a 50% chance of successful repair.
