Wish we had proper storms thunder and lightning, but it’s been years since we had a proper storm here in Nottinghamshire , I remember my mum covering the mirrors and opening the doors in case of a thunderbolt coming down the chimney. All we get now is maybe a few rumbles of thunder and one or two flashes of lightening for about half an hour.

This place is definitely worth a second visit i think guys, be better when there is no wind then you can hear properly. Also I don't know if it is just me or if its the camera but if you look closely when Paul turns the camera round after hearing the noises upstairs at 22:48 you can see what looks like a shadow in the stairway it goes from right to left, please have a look and see if you can see it because I've looked on my phone and tablet and i can see it on both. Let me know what you think. Apart from that hope you both have a good new year and will be waiting for the first drop of 2025.

Interesting location, hard to tell if it's falling apart or if it's undergoing restoration.. hopefully the latter. Any kind of investigation with a howling gale outside must be so so difficult but the place certainly warrants a return visit when the weather is better. That hat Mark was wearing in the cellar looked fabulous, gave him a Indiana Jones vibe .. he should wear one like it on all investigations from now on 🙂
