I remember this website being really elite about ten years ago. It would guess even the most obscure characters. I imagine ten-years of little kids inserting random answers has confused the algorithm a little bit. That's why you see it go from a series of pretty congruent and standard line of questions to something bizarre like "does your character fight Thanos?" Since I imagine an 8 year old would intentionally insert wrong replies in order to "stump" the genie.

I'm pretty sure also when it gets close it asks questions that it doesn't know the answer to when it comes to that character so it can refine itself and maybe use those questions next time someone is thinking of that character.

I’ve been playing this the last few days. I haven’t been able to get it to find a single Cardinals player. I always seem to end up the Mike Trout or a football player. It constantly asks me if they are cricket players from India or Pakistan so I’m not sure if there is a regional thing as I don’t live in the USA.
