Can Am Defender Limited 2" Forward Offset A-Arms Install For 32" Tires A-arms by SuperATV

You didn't need a 30mm socket. Just use a kentucky metric slap hammer aka adj wrench

I probably don't, this jack has a locker on to keep it from coming down. Regardless I should've used jack stands also you are right. The quality of these arms was excellent they perform well. Thank you for supporting my channel.

@@maraudermitchelli I didn’t know there were jacks with any kind of lock on them. My jack is at least 20 years old and just releases with a twist of the handgrip. Old school thinking is always have locked, immovable supports before getting under a machine. I didn’t intend any disrespect.

You're rubbing on the inside of the tire as well.

Jonathon that was an alignment issue. I had never done an alignment prior on anything. Realigning the tires was the hardest part of this installation. I had to realign the tires several more times over the next several months. When doing this i had to even the left and right turning angles...this was hard. But you are absolutely right and the issue was corrected. thank you

Would prob be easier to do a wheel spacer vs power steering spacer??? Would that work instead?

Wheel spacer screws up the width of the machine...and wheel flares. But it may have worked I can't remember...it is a good idea. Be safe thank you

The reason for the power steering spacers because the a arms are moved forward 2" wich moves every thing else forward. If you don't run steering spacers on factory axles you will pop your axles out on sharp turns.

I'm going to order a set for my Defender as well. I installed 32" Carnivores and they rub occasionally. I see you didn't reuse the stock ball joints. What ball joints from SuperATV did you go with? Thanks for the install vid!

I can't remember...I believe they are the less expensive options. They are very strong but may rust in 10,000 years. I hope my video helped, they are a good product. How much did you pay for the tires and where did you get them. Btw take your time with the wheel alignment that was the toughest part, also i cut the steer rack spacers in half. i got the tires at UTVCanada.com here in Alberta. About $830 USD. They sell a lot of Super ATV products as well. I'm about to call them here now and inquire about the a-arms. I thought the steer spacers already came with a notch cut out of them for easy install. Thanks for the tips brotha

Just got off the phone with them and they have to order them from SUPERATV which was too be expected. I priced out a set with the HD ball joints preinstalled. ($775 USD shipped). Orders are put in every Wednesday so that gives me some time to think of any other things I may want.

Martin I don’t have this sxs anymore, the rims were can am xmr defender rims, the A arms are needed for the diameter of the tire. The newer can am defenders have A arms now that can handle a 32” tire. Be safe
