Nice, so far I have 4000 miles on my 2023 Can-Am outlander 850. Sounds like it’s been a good machine for you.

I know of the defenders getting as high as 60,000 miles, but I don’t know if it required any engine work or anything else major . Rotax isn’t that bad, now the outlanders are a different story, again the Rotax is okay, but there are quite a few issues with the rest of the machines.

I bought a 2023 defender hd9 cab model. I really like the machine , very comfortable and quiet. The only issue I have had so far was a stick coming through the floor. I didn’t realize my machine didn’t come with a factory skid plate under the floor , only the drive train. It was my second ride with the machine. I replaced the floor and installed a full aluminum skid plate . Just bad luck I guess. The passenger floor was cracked in several pieces with an 8inch by 12inch hole in the floor . The stick broke and hit the frame then directed through the floor just from the weight of the machine. It was a tight part of the trail so I was moving slowly trying not to scratch a brand new machine lol. I hope you get many more miles out of yours. It looks well cared for and worth repairs when needed.

Thanks for the comment. Yes, I wish they came from the factory with a full skid plate. I have the full skid on mine as well. Sometimes, that's all it takes is a small stick to hit the wrong way and break something.

Does any manufacture make sxs with a full undercarriage skid plate? Seems ridiculous to have plastic or fiberglass floor pans.

Good question, I'm not sure.

It's not a bike! Bike refers to bicycle, meaning a two-wheeled vehicle.

You are absolutely correct, it's a side-by-side.
