Sell every single part directly to your customers, publish detailed repair manuals, and price these right. Don’t go the way of the Livewire, Zero, and others. Embrace your customers and treat them like hardworking people spending their hard earned money on your product and ya’ll can’t go wrong.

If Can-Am is looking to improve things, their factory manual for a Ryker is not even close to the the utility of Honda's Gold Wing factory manual, for example. Can-Am's renderings are "there", and the text is "there", and you can get through whatever you want to do, but they're just not what they could/should be. Honda's is a quick review and "you've got this". Put another way, you'll know 5X more after you've actually done whatever you're doing on a Ryker than you will no matter how much you study it before you begin. It's, "OK, I see what that was trying to show now." Manuals and illustrations from 30-40 years ago were better. I should add, as I've had the Ryker all apart, that "Embrace your customers and treat them as hardworking people" is definitely the case from the product and value standpoint. I was heavily impressed with how the machine was executed, feeling like there is way more there, and what it took to get it there, than many other products in the motorcycle class. Lastly, their LINQ system is awesome. Actually find I'm really using all of the variants frequently and they add a lot of utility.

Have several sport bikes and a Ryker, but looking for a dual sport. What stopped me in my tracks was the 419 lb. weight of the Origin. That's close to R1 weight vs, say the CRF450RL at 289 lbs. wet, I believe. Is it possible for this thing to carry all of that extra weight and be as fun off road? What do you think? Need opinions...

I’d love one, I wonder what the range will be 5-6 years from now when battery density becomes better. For me commuting I’d really enjoy one. Wonder if the large government electric grants would apply to a motorcycle

They can handle below-zero storage, but it’s important to follow the best practices-charge between 30-60% and avoid extreme temperatures for extended periods.
