New to your channel, but I pulled a home built trailer behind my Harley Davidson Superglide back in the 80s. Then I stopped riding to raise a family. Now I'm riding a '22 Goldwing non-tour and I'm reworking my 40 year old trailer to use. Your Can-Am tailer looks really sweet.

EXCELLENT VIDEO!!! OUTSTANDING WORK IN YOUR SETUP!!! I like the red brake light process and I really like the interior lighting. The interior lighting is something I'd definitely like to do on mine. I have the 2010, so I have the 5-wire (actually 7) plug and play as well. I don't think I need all the charging ports. I don't use the trailer that much. BTW, I also have the same turn sighnal lights you have, which I really like.

Hi DJ, I also purchased the C-Way Canoe-2 luggage rack. I had hoped to get a C-Way single wheel trailer also but I’m not really confident that the Comfort III trailer will be ready for purchase anytime soon. It took over a month to get the Canoe-2 from Ukraine. I don’t think my heart would survive the stress of sending $7k to Ukraine during their war then waiting for an entire trailer to arrive from Ukraine. For this reason, I am about to purchase a new Escapade Elite trailer. Your trailer looks awesome!

The escapade Elite trailer is an excellent choice. It was either that, or the can am trailer for me.

Only one modular helmet is SNELL approved. I believe it was called an Zeus. The European safety marking gives it as much if more of a safety certification as Snell is kinda old. The newer helmets as very capable of handling impacts even with the build in sun shield. When riding at night you really want clear visibility and the tinting face shield is not approved. (Kinda why it doesn’t come on helmets.) also, the first Can Am Spyder was in 2008 and the Touring model (RT) came out in 2010 so the trailers started in 2010. The original electrical plug was a 9 wire and only 4 were used. Most motorcycle trailers use a 5 or 6 wire system.

@@trustlife21 yeah, I got really lucky with this purchase. I found it on Facebook marketplace. I almost didn’t purchase it, but another biker convinced me to get it. Now I’m glad I did because the prices are so expensive now to get a good trailer. I’m getting ready to do a 2,500 mile trip in June to the Redwoods with my wife. Will definitely be taking lots of video of the trip.
