I used hand sanitizer when I did mine. Plus the hand guards have a pin hole in the bar so they'll only go in one way

Thanks Emil! New rider here, We just bought some grips for our bike, can't wait to install them! The gloves were a great idea, my husband has some of those.

As a suggestion use hairspray. If you spray it inside the grips and on the bars it acts as a lubricant then dries to sticky and will keep the grips from slipping. The larger opening grip should go on the throttle side. Is the lettering reversed on the oppostite side of the grip?

Yes! I used hand sanitizer and they slid right on and adjusted them to be even w/no problems. Also, when I removed the factory ones I just turned them inside out and rolled them off.

Why do you keep calling the hand guards handlebars? The right grip has a bigger hole than the left grip. Use hand sanitizer as lube to slide them on and it will dry in no time.
