Hey Pierre, i have a 2008 Spyder which the handle bars have a cover on it. What would be your best advise for installing something similar? Not sure if you have the similar adaptor for the GPS attachment that Can am offers

everything appears to be a 1" ball, Garmin 2597lmt is a 17m ball does the ram bracket work with the 2 different sizes.

Hi Pierre, I’ll had to order a 7mm Allen head to loosen the bolts so I ordered my cup holder and cell phone holder at the same time. I was going to pull two of the bolts and weld 1/4-20 Stainless Steel Couplers to the bolts. My question is have you run across bolts you can’t get out? I can’t get two of them to even break loose and one I got it broke loose and it made about 4 revolutions and stopped. I can’t even get it to tighten back up? Thought you might have a answer? It’s almost like they a Loc Tite on them. Thanks for any help you can provide

They do have lock tight.... trick is to use longue socket wrench for more torque, plus use the 6 inch extension, that will help. find something to heat the bolt up, that coud work too. No power tools, just power arm.

Pierre - Spyder TV Poliquin - Spyder Accessories I finally got one out and yes yellow loctite. I’ll try some lubricant to hopefully help it break loose. I’ll definitely try a longer extension for more torque but there is no way to add any heat because it has a plastic housing around the bolts but that would definitely help if you could. Thanks for responding back.

Yes you can. Pierre did it for me 2 weeks ago (thanks Pierre). The trick is to flip the gps bracket first so it's lower on the steering wheel

This bolt is not compatible with the Tri Axis Adjustable Handlebars. Pierre do you know where I can find a bolt that fits? My wife has the TriAxis system on her 2014 STS-SE5 and I really want to mound her Ram Mount Spyder in the center.

Hey. Did you find a solution? I just bought my 2017 Spyder RT Limited a few days ago. I will never use the GPS. I would rather use my phone. I am wondering if the bolt in this video will work for me. As long as it's tall enough to clear the axis plate the GPS would mount to, I should be fine.
