IF ONLY wiggins could consistently perform every game like this, the warriors probably shouldve been a top 5 or 3 in the west by now
@Leo-nc3yx8 ай бұрын
It's actually quite simple, Wiggins and Klay must average 40pts together with decent % for the Dubs to be a top 5 team again. They were able to do that in 2022',last time GSW was actually good. In the first half of this season,they couldn't even pull 30 combined... That's the reason why they struggling so much.
@Leo-nc3yx8 ай бұрын
People tend to overlook that Steph is the only superstar who doesn't have a 20+pts second option... As bad as the Lakers are AD is still a beast,who can lead the team to win multiple games even without LeBron.

If only the team(Steph, Klay, dray)as a whole wouldn’t have blown 15+ double digit leads this team would be top 5 or 3 in the west, or still in the play-in if we are being honest

GSW inability to STOP opponents are more likely KILLs their chances of Winning.. Shooting & Scoring are INNATE to Curry, Wiggins, JK..

The fact that he has played like this ONE TIME this entire season, should answer your question. He's had some other good games, but this is the first time this year he really looked great! I wouldn't hold my breath that he'll have this kind of performance next game, but let's see him prove me wrong...

Wiggs = space cadet. He may be focused in, he may be out to lunch. You never know his mindset from game to game. He's been focused for the last few games, maybe he will be more consistent?

It's true that Wiggs has been underwhelming this season until recently, but I always think Wiggs plays very unselfishly within the GSW system, which has always evolved around Steph. There will be some shots for #22 just for the sake of distributing the offense, but the team never relies on him as the primary or even the secondary scorer. Wiggs never seems to complain about not having enough touches either. But Kerr has acknowledged the fact the Wiggs is a rhythm scorer and he needs a little head start if he is to be an effective scorer in a game, as demonstrated in this Florida trip. So, hopefully they can continue to weaponize the Wiggs and JK combination to get them started early to create more spacing for Steph and Klay as the game goes on.

This is how this team should’ve been playing all year. Our best lineup for a championship run is the current lineup and that’s the sad part because this lineup is very inconsistent. Klay and Wiggs can go ice cold any night.

You cannot be serious! I can't believe for one second that you watch basketball games on a regular basis if you're making that statement. The dude is there one night, then absent the next 2 games... Steph is #1, Kuminga is #2..... Wiggins MIGHT be #3, but that's definitely debatable.

@andychase76938 ай бұрын
The answer is no. Timberwolves fans watched for years as this obviously talented player rarely made a definitive difference. He was "pretty good", but clearly not a star. A star is a CONSISTENT difference maker. Wiggins was NEVER that. Sure, he had some really good games, but a lot more "just okay" games. His indifference to defense and rebounding, and his inconsistent effort were incredibly frustrating to watch. I was glad to see him traded away. Max contract, middle of the pack performance.

I GUESS YOU MISSED 2022.Happy for Wolves though.Hope they don't choke.Ball is on their court this year.
@andychase76938 ай бұрын
@@edwardallen4619 No I didn't miss 2022. That year was clearly, for him, an outlier. A single All-Star appearance in 9 years for a number 1 pick on a max contract for most of it doesn't mean he's a star. He's still just a "pretty good" player, obviously not worth the money he's being paid. As far as the Wolves are concerned, they'll still be playing playoff basketball this year while Steph Curry is working on his (admittedly pretty good) golf game. I stand behind my comments about Wig 100%.
