I just wonder how much pressure Bryce put on himself when he saw CJ Stroud having such an incredible rookie season, I think Andy will help make the team more competitive they really need to up that run game. Cheers.

First of all, benching Bryce is THE BEST THING that could have happened. Keep in mind, Bryce's issues began under the previous regime and after 2 weeks of film, THE CURRENT REGIME decided that benching him instead of potentially damaging his confidence even further would be best. So to now hear all these emotionally charged knee jerk assumptions about the panthers being DONE with Bryce is absurd. Let the young man step back, regroup, watch the game from the sideline for a sec then come back with a clear mind and then get back to being the QB the entire league said he is, is the best move.

Exactly my thoughts. Also if you watch some of the interviews that Steve Smith Sr, agent 89, has done he also sees this being a move to protect Bryce from basically being his own worst enemy. I hope after a few games or even next season they give Bryce another chance. Also if you look at all of the QBs Canales has helped ....all veterans with experience so let's give it time before jumping to conclusions.

It’s SOOOOO ANNOYING to hear people say he’s DONE IN CAROLINA, IT’S OVER FOR HIM, HE’S A BUST, etc. One thing I’ll say, Canales and this new regime hasn’t given me any reason to doubt what this team can potentially look like, and benching Bryce now before A. he regresses any further and B. Canales loses the faith of the other guys in the locker room just proves to me that there’s a much bigger picture at hand. All these goofy ass arm chair coaches that probably haven’t ever put on a pair of cleats much less played need to sit back stfu and allow the process to play out.

I seriously can't understand why so called analyst don't see it this way. It's as if they're ignoring everything that was done this offseason (spending $$$ on interior lineman, drafting Leggette, Brooks, Sanders, trading for Dionte Johnson) and the first two games this year. Bryce is clearly regressing. So instead of continuing to let him drown, let him sit on the sideline and learn.

This is one of the main reasons why I mostly listen to current and former players that have a more realistic viewpoint on the situation, and from what I've gathered so far from the likes of Steve Smith Sr., Kurt Warner. Etc, they're all in agreement with the benching and gave very sound reasons why it's best. I believe in what Canales and the Panthers brass have in place, and I'll continue to support them.

Mel Kiper had him at no.1 on his big board. Recently Kiper went off on ESPN about this situation and trashed the Panthers. I think he is bent out of shape because his evaluation in last year draft was all wrong. I don't think this in on the Panthers because they have done everything to help Bryce. Bryce is just a bad qb. I don't know how this guy have started since last year. Because he looks so bad it's noway his poor play didn't show up in practice. I am tired of the media giving Bryce a pass. The Panthers should move on from him and trade him.

Having Bryce benched should be good for him in the short term. He can watch Andy Dalton perform and learn from him. When he comes back as QB 1 hopefully he will be better.

Panther smight won vs next 2 tought teams but Andy will make it respecable, Bryce is TRAHS at this point, watch the tape, his footwork is TRAHS fomr the get go. The urnning game gave him 3rd and short almsot the entire game and he was pressured a league low 4 times and he still shit his pants consistently, overthrows, inteceptions, not stepping up into the pocket, holding the ball when he should run and taking hits for NO REASON otehr than hes a DEER in the HEADLIGHTS!
