The AI on this guy is fun to puzzle out. Basically, if the enemy is too fast, the golem turns into Mario spamming super jumps. Triggering that response is specific, but you can tell on the first Godskin fight and both Malenias, the opponent was too nimble, and this the Super Stomp Spam began, and didnt end until the Golem was the only thing on the field. Radahn didnt trigger that until the Meteor Drop attacks, and Placidusax with his fade and strike attack (when your computer could show anything, that is)

I think more than anything, this emphasizes that the opening cinematic with Messemer, his army, & multiple furnace golems sieging the city were a force that would have been utterly unstoppable without some ridiculously powerful mages on the opposing side. Also, surprising how many of the Dragonkin Soldiers' Ice Lightning Spears got thrown upwards rather than used as ground-aimed projectiles to set off their AoE properly.

Those things can't be killed, you just gotta destroy the skulls for them to sit down. Which can be done in a single AOE for the golem. However. Them stomping on somebody is an instakill. It doesn't do damage. It sets your status to dead
