It's always a shame seeing messmer phase 2 in these videos but he never does any of his snake stuff. It's pretty much just messmer but with a diff skin. Not even worth giving him a retry if he doesn't have access to his base serpent abilities

Strange that some boss attacks weren't working Messmer's giant snakes, Promised Consort Radahn's clone attacks after he throws the boulders

I wish they did more with this concept. I don't really care about lore implications, we know damn well garden of eyes is an AU, but considering what they're replacing, it feels so... Mid... Love the mogh form though, and that she flies in, butterflies look cool, but... It's just underwhelming

I like how much more Mohg is involved here. On Radahn we just have some horns and 1 bloodflame attack. Cool mod but yeah it wouldn't have been better than the actual game.

Hell no, some people on tiktok likes this bose more than Radhan. I am pretty sure the same people would have complained if miyazaki chose to add malenia as the final boss.

If Radahn was the mod and malenia the official boss the reaction would be the opposite, even more so since Radahn is actually a good boss.

Look I'm obviously not gonna pay for this mod and play it myself, but honestly I still love how both of her phases designs look like and I also love to see her fight like this, although in this video I wished to see more of her second phase action because my all time favourite thing about this mod is when malenia starts fighting with her bare hands in a second phase and this is what I've been waiting to see her do in ages

I perdonnaly don't like the first phase and first cinematic because they don't match with the lore. Like at all. But the second phase is really nice

The idea is interesting, Malenia having contact with the Crucible and the Formless Mother and curing the rot inside her, and in the second phase she fighting without the Mother or the Rot. I wanted Morgott to be in the Fight, it would be nice to see him fighting to do justice for Mogh, of course he didn't agree with Mogh but they were both brothers. It would be nice to see him reborn using Godfrey's or Crucible Knights' abilities, and just one wish, although it's personal, I wanted to see Morgott with Vendrick's sword I always thought both were very similar and it would be nice to have this reference.

Like the other comment said, very unbalanced not putting at the very least a full health second phase for other bosses like Radahn or Bayle against this version of Malenia who is... jusy difficult for the sake of it

New Malenia is just old Malenia but with 2X the poise, poise damage and health, so she wins. Unless she's not rot immune, then she gets smashed.

You can just say you don't like that this mod is something you have to pay to play, cause I completely agree with you on that. But I will say you shouldn't downplay all the effort and style put into this boss despite that. But yes, this really shouldn't have a price tag due to it being illegal for the context

@@masonstewart6232I don't care for this ridiculous, facile, cup half-full view. It isn't only the fact that it's paid. If I liked it I'd still pay for it. It's still a bad mod. Framedrops like crazy, and poorly balanced too. The first phase design looks like tripe. There are genuine performance and hitbox issues the boss has. Besides the mod author has a history of thieving assets and other things.
